Know what you don't need for better skin
Salty foods: These dehydrate the skin and are high in iodine. Also salty foods trigger acne.
Caffeine: Every cup of coffee needs three cups of water to process it through the system-this is drawn from the skin. Caffeine increases the level of stress hormones,which can lead to poor skin health.
Hydrogenated fats: Nearly in all processed foods and margarines,these are found and believed to generate free radicals in the skin.
Alcohol: It contains acetaldehyde which attacks skin fibres, reducing firmness and elasticity .It destroys Vitamin C.
Lack of sleep: Night is when the skin repairs itself- builds new cells and replace collagen. Avoid exposure to sun and pollution.
